Privacy Policy

Choixa ("the app") is operated by İlker Yavuz. This policy is written for GDPR and Turkish KVKK.

Data that stays on your device: your decisions, product photos, savings records, Decision DNA answers and monthly budget are stored only on your device. You can delete everything in the app with "Delete my decision history".

Data sent to our server: for analysis we receive the product name, price, your answers and a downsized photo; they are not stored after the analysis. The photo and text are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the explanation.

Decisions you share: when you use "Ask your friends", the shared decision's name, price, photo and vote counts are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Voters are not identified; to prevent double voting we keep an irreversible hash derived from a browser cookie.

Payments: subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play; we never see card details. Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat with an anonymous user ID.

Crash reports and anonymous usage data: to keep the app stable, crash and error reports are sent to Sentry (EU data center). To improve the product, anonymous events about which screens and features are used are sent to PostHog (EU data center). They never include your photos, product names, prices or IP address, and no personal profile is created. You can turn off anonymous usage data in the app's Settings.
